Biography

Vickie Puchi joined Chance Sports as its inaugural executive director in 2023.

Previously, Vickie was vice president of programs and strategy at ACE Scholarships, a Colorado non-profit scholarship granting organization, where she helped expand the footprint of the scholarship program beyond Colorado’s borders, allowing it to impact four times the number of students. Before ACE, she worked as vice president of development and communications for Denver Kids, Inc., a public/private partnership of the Denver Public Schools that provides educational counseling and mentoring to at-risk students.

In her youth, Vickie was a competitive gymnast, competing as a Level 9 club gymnast until joining her high school team where she served as co-captain and had success at a regional level. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Loyola University in Chicago and a master’s degree in religious studies from the Iliff School of Theology. She also holds a Leaders in Development Certificate from the University of Denver.

Most recently, Vickie completed a term on Arrupe Jesuit High School’s (Cristo Rey school) board of trustees and continues to serve on their Capital Campaign and Philanthropy Committees. She also serves on the board of trustees of Regis Jesuit High School and St. Anne’s Episcopal School. Outside of her philanthropic work, Vickie is a certified yoga teacher. She and her husband David have four children—three adult daughters and a younger son.
