Biography

Katie Vanderweide Renker is an investor and philanthropist who is actively involved in various business ventures of the DeVos family. As a partner at Baton Collective, she plays a key role in supporting the operations of Michigan Sports Academies, which offers club sports programming for youth in West Michigan, including volleyball, basketball, and soccer.

Before joining the larger family ecosystem, Katie held positions in client strategy and brand partnerships at several startups in the marketing technology sector. As a dedicated board member of the CDV5 Foundation, Katie is committed to helping individuals reach their full potential. She also leads the MSA Foundation, which provides essential financial assistance to aspiring young athletes. Katie, alongside her husband Griffin, is passionate about philanthropy. They actively support initiatives in their local community and beyond, ensuring access to essential resources for ongoing well-being. Katie and Griffin have been long-time partners of charity:water, an organization dedicated to addressing the global water crisis through sustainable solutions, including clean water projects, sanitation, and hygiene initiatives.

Katie holds a master’s degree in sports administration from Northwestern University, along with a bachelor’s degree in communications and entrepreneurship from Wake Forest University.

Katie and Griffin reside in Colorado with their two children.
